Welcome to Weir Haven Luxury Country House
Only 20 minutes from Galway City, Weir Haven is a picturesque thatched country house with luxurious, stylish interiors. The house is furnished with carefully selected antiques, designer fabrics and objects d’art. Upstairs there are three luxurious, extra-spacious bedrooms which are individually styled each with private en-suite bathroom, king-size bed, settee, easy chairs and flat-screen TV. The Luxury Continental Breakfast, which is provided in your room, consists of fresh chilled orange juice, fresh fruit, a selection of cereals including Weir Haven granola, handmade yogurts, cheeses, and a selection of fresh breads. Guests have exclusive use of the large reception and drawing rooms which have magnificent marble fireplaces, settees and comfortable easy chairs, ideal for reading and relaxing. |
| | Outside there are one and a half acres of carefully maintained gardens with mature trees and shrubs, flowerbeds, walkways and several terraces with seating which have stunning views of the swans on the Weir estuary across to Moran’s of the Weir Oyster Cottage and the horses grazing in the fields adjacent.

Weir Haven is located just a short distance from the village of Clarenbridge - home to the world famous Clarenbridge Oyster Festival. The equally famous Moran's Oyster Cottage (also known as Morans of the Weir) is situated just across the estuary and is the ideal spot to sample some of the excellent local seafood.
The Galway Races is a racing festival not to be missed and with Galway Racecourse only 20 minutes away you can partake of the wonderful atmosphere of the Galway Races while still enjoying the scenic delights of Weir Haven.
